From the desk of Robb Long:

It’s an absolute honor to share this news with all of you—for the fourth time in a row, I’ve been featured in Lürzer’s Archive Top 200 Advertising Photographers Worldwide 23/24 for my work on two amazing projects: Channel Seed and BFGoodrich.

I can’t even begin to express how grateful and humbled I am to be included in this incredible lineup. To see my work alongside the photographers who have inspired me for years is truly a dream come true. I used to flip through Archive Magazine at the bookstore and imagine being featured, and now here I am. I hope that I can inspire young artists in the industry just as these amazing photographers have inspired me.

But this achievement is not mine alone—it belongs to my family, my friends, and everyone who has supported me throughout the years. And of course, to my fellow creatives, colleagues, and clients—thank you for your support and recognition. It means the world to me.

I’m thrilled to share the four images that were selected for the book, along with the creative credits. Both of these projects have brought some incredible friendships into my life that I will cherish forever.

And a little backstory about the BFG shoot that not many people know—the environment was so harsh that I ended up getting frostbite on my shutter finger! But did that stop me from shooting? Heck no! I put a warmer on it and used another finger to fire the trigger. Talk about dedication, right? And don’t worry—my finger is fine now. The Art Director (Ryan Ullery) even gave me the nickname Robb “Frost Bite” Long after that experience!

I’m sincerely thankful for the opportunity to pursue my passion and for the people who have made it all possible. Here’s to all the fellow Commercial Directors/Photographers, assistants, producers, creatives, and everyone in production. And a huge shoutout to my clients for trusting me to capture their vision and giving me the creative freedom to do what I do best. This is a celebration of our collective hard work and dedication.
