We’re looking for a Design & Production Intern (yes, you need to know how to prep files for production) to work with our creative team on developing ideas, applying research, executing designs, addressing feedback, and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities
• Apply design principles and use your creative problem solving skills to develop ideas from concept to execution
• Design and produce various types of branded or campaign collateral
• Support the creative team with fresh ideas, mock ups and play an active role in the process
• Support the execution of campaigns and perfect your production skills
• Enhance your design and visual storytelling skills by showcasing your illustration, design or typography skills
• Support the design and production of social media assets and graphics
• Design presentation decks and support account management
Required Skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Web & digital design proficiency and up to 3 years of experience or equivalent completed course work
• Experience with Powerpoint / Microsoft Office suite a bonus
• Self motivated, organized, and ready to learn
• Familiarity with brand development and management
• Effective communication skills
• Able to follow direction, open to feedback and seeking constant improvement
• Ready to collaborate and bring value
Qualifications
• Senior year or recently graduated design students
• Any agency experience or prior freelance work is a bonus
• Experience with social media platforms
• Excited to work on human-centric and cause-driven projects
