Periscope and Minnesota Lottery Debut Scratch Ticket Holiday Campaign

The Minnesota Lottery and creative AOR Periscope are debuting their latest creative for the holiday season. The work shows how scratch games are a great way to opt in for excitement any time throughout the year, but especially during the holidays when they’re the perfect gift that can fit a wide variety of recipients on everyone’s list.

With the busy schedules and pressure the holidays can bring, Periscope developed the campaign inspired by the desire for more enjoyment with less effort. Additionally, gifting trends are showing a return to tangible gifts like board games — experiences that spark joy and offer a community element people can share. The holiday campaign puts forward Minnesota Lottery tickets as the perfect shortcut to holiday joy.

The campaign began rolling out earlier this month, debuting with a message to “Shake Things Up” this season across broadcast, CTV, radio/streaming audio and OOH. Social videos will continue rolling out through December 21, featuring creative full of practical effects that puts a fun, festive spin on seasonal themes and showcases the many different audiences a scratch ticket is a perfect gift for. Social videos “Dog Walker” and “Snow Globe Home Tour” launched in the past week, and today the agency launched a new social spot, “Thermostat.”
