The Graphic Design Program at North Hennepin Community College — one of the most diverse & equity-forward colleges in Minnesota — is growing and hiring an adjunct faculty person to teach two Web Design & digital interactivity classes (Web Design I & II).
Course Information: Web Design I
Scheduled for the fall semester of 2023 (days/times & delivery method TBD), this is the first of the 2-class experience for web/interactive design. Basic/beginner concepts of front-end development/management are introduced and demonstrated through class content and projects. Some introduction to select Creative Cloud apps (Illustrator, Photoshop) may be necessary until a prerequisite restructuring process (happening now) is complete.
Course Information: Web Design II
1/10/2023 – 5/10/2023, Tuesdays/Thursdays, 12:30-3:10pm. This course is scheduled as blended/hybrid (a mix of in-person & online). The second of a 2-class experience on graphic design for the internet/interactivity, this course explores intermediate/advanced concepts from a graphic designer’s perspective.
