Target appears to be making technology a very high priority. They recently established a new office in San Francisco focused on innovation in mobile and digital. Their goal in setting up shop in SF is to "collaborate more closely with Bay Area technology partners and forge new relationships with local innovators and emerging technology firms." Back in 2000, Walmart set up an office in the same city; but, to manage their web-based retail operations. We're curious to see what comes of this new collaboration for Target.
Carmichael Lynch's long running campaign is still killing it for their client Jack Link's. In fact, their "Messin’ With Sasquatch" series has "helped take Jack Link's Jerky from a distant second to the clear #1 in meat snacks." Meat. We've featured a bit of the Sasquatch creative, over the past four years, here, here, here, here, and here. Carmichael's latest three spots find Sas a tad cranky after an overly long winter hibernation. And as he wanders farther into civilization, to find out what happened to spring, he comes across a whole new crop of people. Enjoy and check out the creative credits after the jump.

Cheil Spain was tasked with helping to launch a new beer labeld, "Senador Volstead" which was named after the man behind the United States' prohibition era from 1920 to 1933. To celebrate this new brew and raise awareness on a limited budget they did a variety of prohibition themed marketing tactics from bars with hidden beer coolers to a fake website shop that, at first, appears to sell teddy bears exclusively. Enjoy.
Since its inception, the internet has remained, for the most part, an open platform for us to play, learn, share, and build together. In this latest web video put together by Google for their web browsing product Chrome they decided to do thank each and every one of us for making it into the awesome tool we know and love today.
"To all the developers & users out there who continue to push this evolution forward--thank you." - Google Chrome

This is a pretty stellar documentary about the work of The Internet Archive project. If you're not familiar with their work, the IAP strives to document and store everything the internet has to offer. Yes, everything. It's an ambitious project, but they have some crazy cool stuff in their database. The piece was directed by Jonathan Minard of Deepseed Media and produced by the Internet Archive.
