Ultra is hiring a Project Manager to work on some of the most iconic, well-known, and beloved brands. You will be responsible for managing and tracking various tasks across multiple packaging projects at any point between kick off and final delivery. There will be a heavy emphasis on coordinating the up-front graphic assets and dielines needed to begin a project as well as managing the final project phase through production and package file release. You will be viewed as a vital resource among internal creative and production staff to answer questions, find and organize assets and manage timelines. You will be the right hand of Account Leadership: opening jobs, writing SOWs, answering client requests, proofing layouts and managing the production end of projects.

Role:
Manage Projects. Manages day-to-day account service duties (as mentioned above) without general supervision and maintains a thorough and current knowledge of project details.
Facilitate Information. Seamlessly provides the right information to the right people at the right time, including clients. Works with clients, creative, production and finance teams to ensure necessary paperwork is issued, assets are provided and deadlines are met.
Track and Document. Maintains our source of truth; the project status report. Ensure we are meeting client expectations and managing to project scopes.
Responsibilities:
Attend daily account staff meetings and client kick offs.
Assemble and organize new projects: open an internal job, write SOWs and coordinate assets needed for the Account Director to kick off projects with creative teams.
Manage the project status report and be knowledgeable about all project statuses and details.
Track SOW and deliverables. Includes writing addendums.
Ensure outstanding client service by anticipating potential problems, assessing appropriate solutions and taking action to avoid and/or resolve conflicts. All with a positive attitude.
Knowledge and Skills:
Project management experience: ability to organize and manage complex, multifaceted projects and programs.
Understanding of agency processes, department functions and workflow.
Familiarity with package design or strong desire to learn about package design.
Can anticipate problems and proactively problem solve.
Strong organizational, written and verbal skills. Accurately interprets and articulates client’s needs to all members of the team.
Collaborative team player with excellent internal relationships. Initiates and assumes follow-up of all stages in the Production Process.
Detail-oriented and proactive multi-tasker and problem solver. Maintains current, in-depth knowledge of work in progress for all assigned accounts.
Salary grade: Commensurate with experience.
