about the cx copywriter role:

soona is looking for a cx copywriter to join the product team. the cx copywriter will be responsible for developing the copy for how we engage with our customers in every step of the process. this role will work closely with the brand team to expand soona’s voice and will be in charge of driving cohesive product narratives across multiple platforms and touchpoints. the cx copywriter will work with a variety of ux design-related jobs including researchers, product managers, engineers, marketing, and customer loyalty to help establish connective language and a unified voice.

this role will require strengths in empathy, logic, and craft to inform writing and design choices. the cx copywriter will create processes and guidelines that focus on informing and delivering the best experience for our customers & crew. as a foundational member of the product design team the cx copywriter will be a champion for the impact at scale of the content they are creating.

this is a full-time position located in our minneapolis office. this role will report directly to the lead product designer.

an ideal candidate can:

be an advocate and liaison for UX across the company
own & write user interface text that facilitates navigation, on-boarding, error messages, email communications, and in-app discovery
adopt brand voice and write within the tone of our brand
strategize and collaborate with designers, researchers, legal, marketing, product managers, and engineers
provide direction and educate cross-functional partners on the role of CX writing
drive vision for product language and content across the soona product and ensure cohesive product narratives
support training & adoption documentation
document strategies with guidelines and establish best practices and strategy principles
manage projects from needs assessment to implementation
receive feedback with grace and humility, using it to improve your work and soft skills
has experience in:

1+ years of professional experience in applied user-centered writing that informed the design of products, services, or experiences
1-4 years of professional experience in customer centric copywriting role
experience writing for robust user experiences and touchpoints
demonstrating an understanding of and passion for user experience and interaction design
strong communication skills in person and remote
a knack for working with a variety of stakeholders and experience working in a cross-functional team
self-starter and creative problem solver, with the ability to write content quickly
excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
highly organized and detail oriented; able to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
proven ability to build consensus and work effectively across teams and disciplines
able to work autonomously with direction and mentorship
proficient using quantitative data and qualitative feedback to identify opportunities and inform recommendations
highly adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity
experience working at a high growth start-up is a plus!
we can offer:

strong starting salary: $75,000 - $95,000
