We are currently seeking an employee focused Director of Human Resources with more than ten years of holistic human resource management experience to lead the growing HR function at Nina Hale. The HR Director will partner with our teams and team leaders to effectively align critical human resources principles with Nina Hale's business objectives.

-Serve as the primary human resource leader at the agency, working with and elevating issues to the Executive Team as needed
-Manage all HR processes, procedures and programs to align with the organization’s strategic objectives
-Manage the development and administration of company-sponsored benefits programs and insurance programs including 401k, health/dental/vision insurance, leave of absence, commuter benefits, etc.
-Own and manage the Agency’s HRIS System (BambooHR)
-Be the primary resource for employees for any HR, benefit or compensation questions
-Oversee the performance management process for the agency, including administering the annual performance review process and calendar (providing appropriate documentation, training, and instructions to management), development and growth planning, and performance improvement efforts
-Guide the agency’s hiring practices including the direct management of our Talent Acquisition Manager
-Coordinate onboarding and new hire training and documentation
-Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant local, state and federal laws, including -EEO/Affirmative Action/OFCCP reporting
-Lead diversity hiring and inclusion efforts within the agency
-Maintain all internal HR documents including the Employee Handbook, I9’s and other new employee paperwork, performance review forms, and employee files
-Direct management of office support team-members
-Manage employee relations for the agency, making recommendations to maintain a highly engaged and satisfied workplace
-Conduct exit and stay interviews, identifying themes and trends to continually improve the workplace
-Corporate Employee Training including but not limited to DISC, New manager training, New employee training, Etc.

-Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or commensurate work experience
-Must have 10 years of broad-based HR management experience
-Must have 5 years of leadership experience
-Demonstrated experience with developing and managing employee benefit programs
-Demonstrated knowledge of applicable state and federal employment laws and governmental compliance requirements
-Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and exercise a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism and diplomacy to accomplish objectives
-Strong written and verbal communication ability
-Demonstrated strategic planning and visioning experience in an agency environment
-PHR/SPHR certification a plus
