The Digital Media Strategist will oversee management of KC’s trading desk (The Trade Desk) and digital media campaigns. Regular responsibilities include working with clients, creative and account management teams to understand and implement campaign requirements on the front-end, traffic creative, manage optimizations and provide reporting & insights.

The Digital Media Strategist would be the primary trade desk manager but will also work closely with others within the department to ensure digital buys are accurately put into KC’s accounting system. In addition, the Digital Media Strategist may mentor others to take on additional planning responsibilities such as trafficking, uploading custom geo- locations, working with 3rd party data providers to build custom data sets, creating
1st party tracking tags and building custom audience profiles within the DMP library.

Responsibilities:
• Work with clients/internal teams to develop campaign strategies, requirements and define success metrics
• Set-up and manage campaigns in DSP; preferred experience in The Trade Desk
• Proactively manage client/campaign budgets and pacing over year/flights
• Proactively monitor campaign activity for delivery, ad quality and performance
• Pull reporting and identify optimization opportunities to implement on an ongoing
basis
• Manage troubleshooting related to campaign, ad serving, creative, or operational
issues
• Research and resolve client inquiries and concerns
• Convey ongoing updates, reporting, optimizations and introductions to new tactics
to internal teams and clients
• Establish and maintain strong working relationship with key client contacts
• Work with media coordinator to ensure media buys are ordered for client billing
purposes and trafficked according to campaign specifications

Requirements:
• 3-5 years agency experience
• Strong knowledge of the programmatic industry
• Ad-serving and self-serve DSP/DMP experience
• Site analytics experience (GA, Webtrends, Adobe)
• Strong experience with PowerPoint and Excel
• Ability to think critically about both client needs and internal solutions
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong work ethic and autonomous initiative
• Results driven, detail oriented
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
