We're looking for the combination of exceptional creative talent and business-minded smarts. Help us deliver award-winning creative work that meets strategic business objectives. As Sr. Graphic Designer, you'll conceptualize and create the brand-right digital and print visual assets that market Blu Dot designs'from emails and website content to social media, advertising, catalogs, and packaging. Designers applying should also be comfortable with taking the lead on project management, managing a team and interfacing with clients when required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design within an established brand identity while evolving the brand over time
- Oversee all graphic design and creative assets at Blu Dot ensuring they are on-brand and meet the needs of the executive team and marketing team
- Day-to-day management of multiple projects from concept through completion
- Conceptualize, design and art direct print materials, web content and digital marketing
- Assist engineering and product development departments with graphic needs such as assembly instructions and packaging
- Seek the support and coordination of outside resources (proofreaders, writers, etc.) as needed
- Manage and coordinate print and production of finished work as required ensure projects get delivered on time
- Manage internal and external graphic designers in terms of workflow and design
- Participate in weekly team meetings
- Follow up with teams to ensure project needs are being met

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-10 years of experience in branding/graphic design preferred, involving work in a team dynamic and communicating and interfacing directly with clients
- A positive, practical, can-do attitude
- An eye for style and a interest in the intersection between retail, marketing and design
- An interest in building a better knowledge of style, interiors and furniture design
- Highly proficient at completing projects independently, efficiently and on-time
- Eager to learn and design within a brand identity
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- A solid creative portfolio with brand-building experience preferred, but not required
- Exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to verbalize your creative rationales clearly and directly
- Hands-on project management experience a must
- Experience and knowledge in digital/web/motion design a plus
