Description

Avenue C, the creative studio of Portu Sunberg, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our exceptional team of individuals who are passionate about delivering uncompromising customer service and driving business growth for our vendors and retail partners.

The Project Manager will be responsible for applying project management knowledge and skills in the effective execution of multiple projects through the utilization of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing processes. This position will work with both clients and internal teams to ensure the on-time completion of projects within budget and scope while meeting quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

-Understand retail trends, consumers, competitors, and channels to develop new concepts and business impacts that meet future needs in the fast-evolving multi-channel retail landscape
-Build and manage relationships with vendors, retailers, and internal teams to influence strategy and decisions, meet internal and external client needs, and identify and develop new business opportunities
-Negotiate, define, communicate, and manage the scope of the project, and ensure all project team members are on task, driving them to successful delivery and removing obstacles along the way
-Understand and communicate client business needs to the internal team, creating an environment of transparency for all internal and client stakeholders
-Creatively and flexibly cooperate with client and team members to solve problems, resolve scope, and budget issues, and ensure we deliver outstanding results
-Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables, and achieving clarity and consistency in all communication
-Define, implement, and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
-Create and maintain a project schedule, which defines activities, sequence, dependencies, work effort, duration, and associated resource requirements
-Assist in establishing project management processes and overseeing ongoing process assessment, improvement, and documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

-2+ years’ experience working with and managing digital and traditional projects in an advertising/marketing agency environment
-Practice working with a fast-paced, innovative consumer business supporting strategic new business development and growth
-Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills, including the ability to lead through influence and work with counterparts across the organization to collaborate and provide strategy recommendations that are complimentary to growth objectives
-Market knowledge of the retail sector and channels, including digital and e-commerce
-Ability to manage full-service accounts with a multitude of simultaneous projects and initiatives
-Proficiency presenting to and influencing both internal and external audiences
-Strong organizational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
-Experience using and implementing project management tools
-Proficient in all Google products including Google Drive, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc, and all Microsoft Office products
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-BA/BS or equivalent experience
-Willingness to travel occasionally
