Overview
The media & digital marketing team at Modern Climate develops and deploys digital media and demand generation campaigns. We place a strong emphasis on testing and learning and are looking for individuals who embody this philosophy.

To this end, Modern Climate is looking for a sr. media planner - someone who is passionate about staying on top of digital media trends and creating digital media strategy for our great group of clients. We are looking for a positive, innovative, self-starter with an eye for detail.

The ideal candidate would have a background in planning and executing paid digital marketing campaigns and have experience with the major digital marketing platforms, web analytics, social media platforms with a good sense of how to set up and manage campaigns. Major platforms include Google, Meta, LinkedIn and we work with a handful of DSPs. In addition this role will also include developing relationships with media partners and publishers to bring unique direct buy opportunities to our client’s media plans.

The candidate is expected to be curious and have a strong point of view. This position offers an exciting opportunity to advise and help shape the digital media activities for Modern Climate’s roster of clients, by making their brands matter.

Responsibilities
● Build, plan and implement the digital media strategies and campaigns
● Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners
● Day-to-day management of digital media campaigns ensuring budget & performance is staying on target
● Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices
● Manage all digital marketing/media channels being utilized in client’s campaigns
● Ensure digital campaigns and tactics are meeting or exceeding KPIs
● Develop performance & analytics reports with thoughtful analysis and recommendations

Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the following experience and skills
● 3-5 years of experience working in digital media with minimum of 1 year experience as a digital media planner, strategist or similar role
● Good knowledge of digital marketing platforms Google Ads & Meta
● Good knowledge and experience with digital marketing tools and best practices
● Experience with successfully planning and executing paid media tactics with a lead generation focus
● 2 year of hands on experience with PPC campaign management, and Google Analytics
● Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
● Team player
● Good time-management skills
● Great interpersonal and communication skills
● BSc degree in Marketing, Digital technologies or relevant field
