Position Overview:
Latitude is looking for a Social Strategist who lives and breathes digital culture. You’re not just watching what’s trending—you’re decoding why it’s working. You understand the nuances of each platform, the psychology of the scroll, and the balance between real-time relevance and long-term brand equity. You’ll help brands behave like people online—and back it up with data.
This role is ideal for someone who’s equal parts culture-obsessed and performance-savvy. Someone who can spot patterns in platform behavior and turn them into strategy—and who gets excited about helping brands show up authentically in social spaces.

Core Responsibilities:
- Shape Social Strategy: Lead social-first thinking across campaigns, platforms, and always-on content.
- Decode Performance: Analyze engagement metrics and platform trends to inform what’s working—and what to shift.
- Guide Creative Direction: Translate insights into briefs, frameworks, and platform-specific best practices that inform content.
- Think Real-Time: Monitor cultural trends and platform shifts daily, recommending timely opportunities for brands to engage.
- Define Audience Behaviors: Map out audience insights and channel-specific behaviors to create content that resonates.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with creatives, producers, community managers, and clients to bring social strategies to life.
- Test and Learn: Develop hypotheses, run A/B tests, and help build a culture of experimentation around social content.
Qualifications:
- 3–6+ years in social strategy, content planning, or digital engagement—ideally at an agency or content-forward brand.
- A proven understanding of platform algorithms, performance benchmarks, and engagement tactics.
- Experience building social playbooks, platform strategies, and campaign recommendations.
- Strong communicator who can synthesize insights and sell in ideas with clarity.
- Bonus points if you’ve helped evolve a brand’s voice or identity in digital spaces.
- Bonus if you’ve worked closely with content creators, community managers, or influencer strategists.

The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $100,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, and overall fit.
