About Community Collage:
Community Collage is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to bring people together through transformative photography experiences that celebrate both individual identity and collective connection. We create immersive pop-up photo studio events where participants are not just photographed but are made to feel part of something bigger—a vibrant, inclusive community. With professional photographers, high-energy environments, and a fun, dynamic atmosphere, we foster moments of joy, self-expression, and unity. With every event, we aim to break down barriers, inspire connections, and build a shared narrative that transcends borders—whether it’s a local community, a corporation, or a global organization. Our goal is to create memorable, impactful experiences that amplify our shared humanity, one snapshot at a time.

About Josh Madson:
Josh Madson is a dynamic and prolific photographer, director and mural artist who has worked internationally from various home bases in LA, NYC, and Tokyo. Josh has collaborated with photographers such as Annie Leibovitz and Jason Bell and photographed celebrities including Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Bosh, Michelle Phan and Kimora Lee Simmons. Additionally, Josh has directed motion campaigns for OPI, Goop, BeautyCounter, and Murad, and held the title of Creative Director at IPSY for over two years. A truly versatile artist, Josh brings a unique beauty and his signature aesthetic to every project—from couture/celebrity editorial to product and lifestyle advertisements. During the pandemic, Josh relocated to his home state of Minnesota to be closer to family and build community through his images. In January 2023, he brought his vision for Community Collage to life. What started as a series of local events has continued to grow into a major community project, encompassing over 12,000 subjects. Since then, Josh has expanded Community Collage to internationally renowned organizations, universities, and communities nationwide.
