Following Significant Growth, Griffin Archer Announces Several New Hires

On the heels of hiring veteran brand strategy leader Kelly Rowntree from Crispin Porter Bogusky and naming her Co-CEO and Director of Strategy, Griffin Archer once again makes a bold move by expanding its executive leadership team with the hire of Emily Buchanan as EVP, Director of Integrated Marketing Communications.

Emily was previously EVP, Director of Brand Marketing at Carmichael Lynch Relate for more than seven years, where she drove cross-disciplinary integration and created award-winning work for clients KAYAK, OpenTable, Frito-Lay, AVEDA, Bath & Body Works, Celestial Seasonings and Arla Foods. In addition, she has served in senior integrated marketing roles at NYC-based agencies Lippe Taylor, MSLGroup and MWW Group.

At Griffin Archer, Buchanan will be leading integrated planning for the agency’s clients, including Sleep Number, where she will drive integration of the brand’s advertising and earned efforts.

Additional recent hires at Griffin Archer include Lisa Rogers as Director of Project Management. Lisa was previously Director of Operations at Peterson Milla Hooks for nine years and prior to that spent 13 years at Fallon, Minneapolis.

The agency also brought on Chris Hansen as Copywriter. Chris joins Griffin Archer from Wunderman Thompson where he worked on Best Buy. More hires at Griffin Archer will be announced in the coming months due to significant growth from current clients and new business wins.
