Director Paul Irmiter has been on a long journey, and it’s no understatement to say he’s thrilled to announce that his film 39 Seconds—released by Mill Creek Entertainment—is now available for rent or purchase.

39 Seconds tells the true-life story of one of baseball’s greatest players you’ve likely never heard of. This film was created entirely in Minnesota, featuring local actors, crew, and post-production talent.

The story highlights John Wesley Donaldson, a star pitcher in the Negro Leagues who amazed fans nationwide with his extraordinary talent. Despite his remarkable abilities, he was never given the chance to play in Major League Baseball.
