Sezzle Wants You To Ditch The Backup Plan This Holiday Shopping Season

Backup plans are stressful and can often go awry. Planning purchases with Sezzle is easy, interest-free, and done in 6 weeks. 

To kick off the holiday shopping season Minneapolis-based financial technology company Sezzle created a new content series that highlights how stress-free planning purchases can be.

“We like how relatable and silly this campaign is,” said Matt Smith, Creative Director at Sezzle. “My mind is always playing out ridiculous alternative situations that would never happen, and I know others do too. It opens the door to a wormhole of funny scenarios and even more great content.”

It’s a platform that Matt hopes to build upon in 2023 as they create more content. 

“Video content is everything. People expect it and connect with it, but it’s a long play in terms of results. It’s like building a visual relationship. If The Office did one or two shows no one would be talking about it” Smith said.

The appreciation for creating content is what ultimately led them to partner with COOL STORY. 

“COOL STORY was great,” Smith said, “but I think they take their job a little too seriously. In our calls, they would narrate reactions to their campaign concepts in a movie trailer voice. It was like that for every meeting. It actually became endearing after a while.”
