Industry Veteran, Minnesota Native Brings Experience from Crispin Porter Bogusky and Other National Firms
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 9, 2019—A top creative advertising agency talent with Midwestern roots and experience working on innovative national accounts has joined LEVEL Mpls as chief creative officer.
Dawn Yemma has worked on advertising campaigns for brands ranging from American Express to Volkswagen to Skippy peanut butter and more.
“Dawn is an example of the amazing advertising industry talent that has come out of Minnesota,” said John Foley, LEVEL Mpls founder and CEO. “We highly anticipate the new creative projects that will be produced under Dawn’s management.”
Yemma has spent over 20 years in the industry, working at firms including Crispin Porter Bogusky, BBDO Minneapolis, Campbell Mithun, Colle + McVoy and others. From cars to credit cards to fast food, Yemma’s work has made an impact. Her campaigns created Small Business Saturday for American Express, reestablished Skippy peanut butter as the fun brand, and contributed to a 20% increase in sales of the Volkswagen Jetta. Yemma’s work has won awards including: Cannes Lions, CLIOs, ANDYs, One Show Pencils, and LIAs.

Within the new role of chief creative officer, Yemma will be overseeing all creative projects, including managing and directing the creative team. Yemma has worked as creative director at numerous other firms, which has prepared her to step into the chief creative officer role and make an immediate impact for LEVEL Mpls clients.
