space150 today announced Jarrod Riddle has joined the agency as Executive Creative Director in its Minneapolis office. The creator of award-winning, innovative work at R/GA, Big Spaceship, Carmichael Lynch, Riddle rejoins space150, where he worked as a Sr. Designer and Creative Director between 2004 and 2010, to lead and oversee creative output across space150 offices.

“Jarrod has always been an incredible creative talent and digital thinker,” said CEO Billy Jurewicz. “As we were looking at who would be a fit for this role, his legacy at space150 and work stuck out for its use of creative technology and conceptual impact. His expertise and point of view are core to the agency’s culture and our value, as more and more brands – and the industry – are faced with how to be relevant today and build for tomorrow.”

Riddle most recently ran his own design consultancy, Hunt+Foster, working direct with clients and agencies surrounding brand transformation and product invention, as well as a co-founder and CCO for the startups: Zurvu and Ben Lido.

Prior to Hunt+Foster, Riddle served as Creative Director at R/GA in New York, working within the Nike+ team. He also served as Design Director at Big Spaceship, working with Google, Lucasfilm, Microsoft and GE, among others. In addition to time at space150 in Minneapolis, he worked at both Carmichael Lynch and OLSON before moving to New York.

“space150 has always lived at the center of design and technology, particularly where it intersects with culture. This space is invaluable for brands who are looking for a partner to help them build tomorrow,” said Riddle. “space150’s independent spirit and unique approach to evolution are in my DNA, and space has always felt like home. I’m excited to expand on the great work already happening across our network.”

Riddle’s work has received accolades from publications including Adweek, Communication Arts, I-D, Print and Vice as well as industry awards, including ADC, AIGA, Cannes Lions, D&AD, The Effies, The FWA, The One Show, Styleboost, TDC, W3, The Webbys, and Yahoo’s Ten Best.
