For two decades, beer connoisseurs demanded that the famous Apricot Wheat Ale from Fitger’s Brewhouse of Duluth be brought to market.
This past June, the wishes of beer lovers across Minnesota came true, when Apricot Wheat Ale and Superior Trail IPA became available across the state. As part of the launch, Fitger’s Brewhouse and its distribution arm, Bold Brewing, rebranded the beer as Duluth Brewhouse.
To expand the footprint of the brand and increase brand recognition in the Twin Cities, Bold Brewing turned to LEVEL Mpls.
“In a beer market saturated by constant new entries and crazy beer styles, we really needed to collaborate with a firm that could help beer drinkers understand just how special Duluth Brewhouse is,” said Beau Raymond, founder of Bold Brewing. “LEVEL Mpls definitely delivered.”
Duluth Brewhouse made a bold entrance in the Twin Cities by having a very successful presence at the 10th annual Summer Beer Dabbler at CHS Field in August.
At the event, Duluth Brewhouse stood out with a recognizable presence among the crowds. LEVEL Mpls developed engaging signage, beard contests, traffic-boosting social posts and “swag so good” that attendees offered to pay for the items.
“Duluth is a special place—earnest, warm-hearted and tough as nails. There’s no place else quite like it. The same goes for the Duluth Brewhouse. Amazing beer brewed by amazing people. We’re humbled to partner with them as we introduce the brand to the rest of the world, and welcome craft beer lovers to the North Shore way of life,” said Dave Damman, chief creative officer of LEVEL Mpls.
As a collaboration between Beau Raymond and his father, Fitger’s Brewhouse owner Rod Raymond, Duluth Brewhouse believes in providing the highest quality craft beer to the Midwestern market. The growing brewery maintains loyal followers and strong ties to local communities.
Fitger’s Brewhouse, Duluth’s original brewpub, has brewed Minnesota’s favorite beers since 1995. Check out boldbrewingllc.com for all available retail locations and the upcoming release of Big Boat Oatmeal Stout and Starfire Pale Ale.
