Creative agency Carmichael Lynch named current director of financial planning and analysis John Green to the role of Chief Financial Officer and managing partner today. Green will lead the agency’s strategic finance discipline during its continued growth. Green will report to Carmichael Lynch CEO Marcus Fisher.

“John has provided Carmichael with exceptional financial leadership in his time at Carmichael Lynch and has been an integral component in the phenomenal growth and change over the last decade of the agency. He’s a valued member of the company and his quality of leadership and character are a great guiding force in the agency,” says Carmichael Lynch CEO Marcus Fischer.

Prior to joining Carmichael Lynch, John worked in finance at both General Mills and the Pillsbury Company. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.

“I’m incredibly proud to be part of the leadership, work and culture at Carmichael Lynch and to help lead our successful growth as an agency,” says Green. “We’re doing transformative work for our clients, including Subaru, U.S. Bank and Phillips 66, and the role of CFO at a creative agency like this one is the most fun you can have in finance.”

Current Chief Financial and Chief Operating Officer Mark Feriancek will continue in the role of COO. “Mark has helped lead the agency during five consecutive years of double-digit growth and will continue to play a critical role in the management of administrative, support and production functions at the agency,” says Carmichael Lynch CEO Marcus Fischer.
