Disability Linkage Line (DLL), a provider of free services to people with disabilities in Minnesota, needed help to communicate its evolution from a phone helpline to a statewide resource network that can now be accessed in a variety of ways. Years of adding services and resources under disparate visual identities found the organization needing to tie its array of services under one master brand for better clarity and understanding by its audiences.
The goal with the DLL rebrand was to create a master brand that was warm, welcoming, and positive. Too often, navigating state-level resource systems can be intimidating and overwhelming. A new name—Disability Hub MN, new logo, and system of materials that reflect the organization and its current mission, vision and values were developed. A bright color palette, inspiring photography of real-life Hub clients, and an approachable narrative tone result in a hopeful, uplifting brand experience.
