Padilla NEXTerns, the agency’s summer internship program, offers college students and recent graduates opportunities in account service, brand, public relations and creative tracks.
As a Padilla NEXTern, you don’t just gain hands on experience working with some of the leading minds in our industry, you will help build the framework for the future of our agency. We’re not looking for someone to just fit in. We’re looking for someone who’s interested in creating what’s next.
Padilla has a paid Internship opportunity for a full-time, three-month creative NEXTern to dive in headfirst and get involved with a wide variety of creative client campaigns. This is not a “make copies and mount artwork” type of Internship. This is a dynamic opportunity to use and grow your talent on a variety of business challenges, through compelling print and digital projects while working with a vibrant, imaginative team.
Responsibilities
Working with writers, other designers and account teams to discuss client’s core messaging and target audience
Creating and developing fresh graphic design for all types of communication including print and digital
Brainstorming ideas and developing conceptual approaches
Amending, revising, or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director or clients
Requirements
A broad range of creative work, preferably including print, digital, brand identity and design
Proven ability to understand and solve business challenges through design thinking
Strong conceptual and design skills
Keen attention to detail
Proven design software capabilities
Experience with digital concepting and design
Candidates must have experience with PowerPoint/Keynote and the Adobe Creative Cloud, and proficiency working in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a must. Link to online portfolio of work preferred.
