Work hard and have fun concepting and creating engaging ideas for client brands and for the agency.
If you're a 2 – 4 year experienced self-starter who is comfortable working independently, yet collaboratively, contributing your own ideas and making an impact, Thorburn is your next home. Ideally you'll have a love for visual and verbal storytelling, imaginative thinking and getting at the heart and soul of a brand – and a high tolerance for dogs in a dog-friendly office. You’ll take on everything from brand identity and brand campaigns to social media and digital campaigns with the zest for original ideas. You're obsessed with typography, have an instinct for great photography and a gusto for contributing to a culture of collaboration, fun and half-day Fridays.
RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
• Produce brand identity, print and digital design across all channels and platforms
• Collaborate with creative director and team on video and photography
• Proactive, creative self-starter that's also a team player
• Handle projects from idea through final files and/or coding (if possible)
• Stand up for your work internally as well as politely and diplomatically with clients
• Work in fast-paced agency life, manage multiple projects and handle feedback professionally
• Fearlessly willing to learn and try new things
• Keep current with all things current - technology, trends, systems and more
• Strong proficiency with Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator
• Aptitude for digital technologies, HTML a plus
• Agency (or in-house agency) experience valued
