SixSpeed’s Lead Experiential Producer is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of experiential projects, from conception through completion. This key role will work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ideate, create, manage, and execute live, experiential events, and will provide leadership in technical and production services, event operations, and logistics. The ideal candidate has an in-depth understanding of current experiential industry trends, stays ahead of industry advancements, and is not afraid to set new boundaries within the industry. This role will oversee multiple events simultaneously, which requires a problem-solving mindset, the ability to multitask, and the ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines. Leadership, critical thinking, negotiation, and communication are skills that you’ve mastered through years of past experiences. We’re looking for a natural motivator for your surrounding teams and clients, as well as someone who's worked in a creative agency setting on lifestyle brands.

THE TASK AT HAND
Lead development of events and experiential activations
Participate in strategy and creative brainstorming, and understand detailed activation plans
Work cross-functionally to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are identified, managed, and met
Direct the needs of multiple external and internal clients concurrently with an eye on efficiency, ingenuity, and growth
Be accountable for the quality and financial success of all projects

Project Execution:
Maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts and fees, manage bidding and estimates
Supervise production and fabrication of program elements
Research, propose, and assist in selection of event sites, acquire permits and licenses, execute site checks
Participate and advise on tour routing and logistics, transport and shipping, loading and unloading, securing and maintaining vehicles and trailers, DOT compliance and reporting, inventory, storage & warehousing
Ensure project feasibility is established and achievable for both time and cost

Onsite Management:
Provide onsite event management, including direction of labor staff, vendor main point of contact, procuring required equipment, schedule load-in and out, oversee set-up, logistics, warehousing, wrap-up and debrief
Ability to direct onsite teams while progressing additional projects and responsibilities
Identify field insights and opportunities for future brand/project growth and advancement

Team Development:
Manage, mentor and guide XC production team members
Develop positive relationships with co-workers, providing guidance based on your expertise

WHO ARE YOU
7-10 years of combined experience working on-site at events and activations
Experience within action, lifestyle, motorsports brands preferred
Bachelor level college degree
High level of enthusiasm, professionalism, ingenuity, self-motivation, resourcefulness
Drive for results in a fast-paced environment
Mentoring and contributing to growth and development of team members
Positive, motivating, and calm demeanor
Ability to resolve a dispute or conflict where all parties are satisfied with the outcome
Proficient with Google Suite of Applications and Microsoft Office
Willing to travel as necessary
