The Associate Director of Awareness Media will be responsible for the leadership of awareness media channel(s) strategy and execution at Nina Hale. Reporting to the VP of Media, this role will lead digital display (banners, video, audio, native) and traditional media efforts as well as play an instrumental role in the development of the company’s strategic awareness media solutions. The Associate Director of Awareness Media will also be a critical leader within the organization with responsibility to lead cross-functional teams, provide mentorship within the agency, and ensure the effective integration of marketing disciplines. This role will lead the Traditional, Display and Internal Trade Desk teams and may also at times need to execute client work within their respective discipline.

RESPONSIBILITIES
_Contribute to Nina Hale's marketing efforts by writing blog posts and speaking at industry events.
_Lead a cross-functional team of digital and traditional marketing professionals to ensure media plans are being implemented and managed with strong performance results
_Articulate awareness media strategy and capabilities of Nina Hale to clients, new prospects, and internally to agency staff
_Ensure the continued success of the Nina Hale internal trade desk through mentorship and strategic direction
_Maintain expertise in and operate as a respected internal leader for all awareness based digital media including Advanced TV
_Train and guide planners gaining experience in traditional media, with a focus on out of home and print
_Supervise the execution of awareness media plans, including preparation of media budgets, schedules of insertions, contracts, and supporting materials
_Ensures that performance metrics are established for the Traditional, Display and Internal Trade Desk teams
_Train and mentors media planners and managers in awareness media tactics, strategy, and execution
_Participate in new business project assignments and pitches
_Assist in reconciling billing for media as needed
_Attend outside representations by the media for the purpose of evaluating new information/services and to maintain good rapport with sales representatives

REQUIREMENTS
_6+ years of experience creating digital and traditional marketing plans with multiple media channels (out of home, display banners/video/audio/native, print, broadcast, Etc.
_4+ years of experience in traditional marketing
_2+ years of team leadership experience
_Possess a broad set of media, marketing and leadership skills
_Significant depth of expertise in awareness-based media campaigns
_Strong focus on measurement and analytics
_High attention to detail
_Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
_Client-centric mindset
_Solid professional presentation skills (written, visual and verbal)
_Strong background in display marketing
_Experience working at or with an agency is preferred
