What you’ll do here as our Senior Designer includes the following…plus, other duties may be assigned as you grow with our company.

• Collaborate with all departments (media strategists, content strategists, project managers and developers) to create world-class customer experiences for our clients
• Apply and update existing brand (visual and interaction) standards to accommodate new products, campaigns, and applications
• Create a strong partnership between front and back end development and business lines
• Present and communicate designs and design goals to teammates, partners, and leadership
• Create prototypes using tools via XD, Sketch, Invision, or others
• Create presentations using InDesign, PPT, or Google Slides
• Facilitate user interviews and usability test sessions
• Validate the design that was developed against UX requirements
• Translate designs into epics, stories, and tasks into Jira/Confluence for the development team
• Ensure dialogue with the client and internal team on informed strategic implications
• Maintain current knowledge of industry best practices

All of these things require some core competencies on your part, in addition to helping lead and educate others on your team to do the same:

Design/Dev
o Broad understanding of website architecture, interactive design principles, web usability, online marketing and business needs
o Experience with user-centered design from concept to delivery
o Experience/familiarity with CSS and responsive design
o Experience with interaction / transition / motion design (portfolio required)
o Experience creating style guides for development teams
o Experience collaborating with large teams using outstanding communication skills
o Strong communication and presentation skills
o Strong knowledge of UX best practices
o Ability to problem-solve and work independently when necessary
o Knowledgeable of Agile, Sprint, Scrum, and Kanban workflows
o Knowledgeable in content and file management best practices
o Experience working with backend development teams
o Strong leadership skills

Customer Service
o Responds promptly to customer needs
o Solicits customer feedback to improve service

Oral Communication
o Demonstrates group presentation skills; provides conclusions in a way clients and team members can understand
o Participates in meetings
