About the Opportunity
Minneapolis-based Ingredient seeks to hire a Senior Account Director to lead strategy and a team dedicated to providing email marketing and related services to a Fortune 500 company, which is an agency strategic account.
Ingredient inspires connections between brands and consumers through the celebration of food and the culture that surrounds it. Since 1994, we’ve been helping brands both big and small share their unique stories and connect with consumers. We operate primarily in the digital world, from emails and videos to websites and social media, because these days it’s simply the most effective way to communicate — but we also have experience expanding that messaging across the marketing mix. We know our way around CTRs and KPIs and believe in the importance of learning from results.
Who You Are
You have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of digital marketing. You can represent the value of email as an important part of the client marketing mix and have the ability to lead email strategy and guide clients and the internal team toward delivering on that strategy.
You have a strong orientation toward leveraging both data and creative thinking to deliver on client priorities. Consumer packaged goods experience is a plus.
While this position does not currently have direct reports, it is the primary contact for a significant agency client that will require strong leadership with the designated client contacts at multiple levels of leadership and responsibility. Additionally, this position provides guidance to the agency team that delivers the work.
You will work collaboratively with other agencies to deliver on client assignments, while representing our agency’s interests per the signed statement of work (SOW).
What You’ll Do
You will bring your 8-10+ years of experience as the primary point of contact for a significant agency client. You’ll be responsible for understanding client goals and how the company can best create strategies and deliver on these goals primarily through the email channel. You will speak with authority about the range of digital campaigns across all channels for this demanding client.
You will have primary responsibility for creating the annual SOW, and managing the work toward that SOW.
You will be the lead for the agency team delivering on the approved SOW, working closely with other assigned team members to ensure client satisfaction and overall profitability of the account.
What Success Looks Like
Client satisfaction will be measured by their annual 360 review process. Internally, you will help to create success metrics for the account each fiscal year, which will include profitability targets, team satisfaction, and account growth.
