Position Summary
The Senior Copywriter develops copy for a full range of creative / marketing ideas from concept through printed / produced materials with an emphasis on creating dramatic results for our clients. The Senior Copywriters utilize their exceptional ability to concept ideas and exercise strategic thinking in all marketing materials and channels. Teamwork is paramount for success in this role, since the Senior Copywriter will work closely with Designers and other team members to develop a final visual product.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Manages multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Acts as a hub, gathering many opinions, sleuthing facts from multiple sources and interacting with many departments to turn all the information into effective communication
Works to elevate our fresh, fun, real voice and has the ability to help develop a style guide to accommodate the growing needs of a company
Develops and maintains client brand guidelines and copy standards
Delivers grammatically clean and effective copy
Leads less senior members of staff to improve their copy skills
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a related field
5 to 10 years of related experience
Strong, conceptual portfolio highlighting interactive and traditional work
Good with clients – natural communicator with great presentation skills
Ability to track multiple deadlines with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Must have the ability to work independently under pressure and within tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
