DKY has an opening for a full-time Associate Creative Director to support our mission of helping people build brands of great impact.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Direction:
- Lead strategic development of creative campaigns that are targeted to meet clients’ business objectives
- Focus creative work primarily on B2B industrial and agribusiness accounts
- Direct the creative process from initial project engagement with clients and brainstorming with the creative team, to development of creative presentations and overseeing production of campaign tactics – striving for excellence from concept to completion
- Guide team to execute creative tactics including brand development (names, logos, identity systems), digital (websites, emails, banner ads, apps, social media graphics), print (brochures, sell sheets, direct mail, point of purchase), media (videos, audio/podcasts, trade show events)
- Write creative documents/presentations that help to conceive, shape, and sell ideas
- Present creative work to clients
- Formulate estimates for all aspects of creative work and manage approved budgets
- Ensure all creative purchases are accurately accounted for
- Stay current with culture, technology and the marketing industry to continue developing fresh, creative ideas
- Attend weekly DKY Creative Conclave meetings to review work, discuss workload and process issues, and learn from others
- Contribute to the positive creative culture of the agency and coach/develop creative team members to improve and advance their craft
- Be an active contributor to DKY blog posts, agency thought leadership, and social media
- Grow the business with existing clients and contribute to new business pitches when called upon

Key Relationships:
- Work together as a team with the Account Manager and Project Manager to solve client problems through smart, well-designed solutions
- Assign jobs to art directors, writers, producers, freelancers, etc. and treat them as key, strategic collaborators
- Manage outside creative partners throughout the project, always maintaining a high expectation of great work while preserving a positive reputation of DKY

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising/marketing, communications, business management or related field and 4-8 years of creative agency experience; we’re looking for an eager, energetic, smart person who is ready to prove this position is their next step up
- Background in copywriting preferred
- Strategic thinker, creative problem-solver, quick learner, efficient juggler, and master communicator with a kung-fu grip on details
