The Graphic Designer will be a member of the Creative Team reporting to an Associate Creative Director and will collaborate daily with copywriters and other designers in a team environment. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating visual solutions across various marketing channels for Collegis Education and its partners in higher education. They should have a strong cross-channel understanding, strive to meet defined business objectives for the projects they work on, and follow established Brand Standards taking direction from senior level Creative team members.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES, ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

-Develop layouts for multi-channel marketing campaigns adhering to established Brand Standards

-Collaborates with Copywriters to maintain a balance of visual and copy while meeting expectations established in the Project Brief

-Handle multiple projects at the same time, under tight deadlines for multiple Brands
Contribute to the development, design, and execution of cross-channel marketing campaign components

-Apply problem-solving and creative thinking to translate creative briefs into effective design solutions

-Work collaboratively with copywriters, senior designers, and/or art directors to deliver engaging and high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment

-Respond promptly to requests and take personal responsibility to deliver strong, compelling results within time, scope, and budget

-Regular review of assigned tasks and due dates to ensure they are completed in the timeframe alloted

-Participate in brainstorming meetings, proactively share ideas, work in collaboration to develop concepts, and provide recommendations on channel best-practices

-Articulate the aesthetic, rationale, and benefits of design decisions
Implements industry best practices for file set up, storage and delivery for all projects

-Adhere to the appropriate information security policies based on the sensitivity of company data and report any security related issues

-Embraces change; maintains an open mind while being flexible and adaptable.

Requirements

-4+ years working within a Creative Team, agency experience preferred but not required

-Familiarity with current graphic design software and tools, practices and procedures including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, XD, After Affects), Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word

-Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS a plus

-Comprehension of user experience and responsive design

-The ability to work independently, in a team environment

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-Knowledge of printing procedures, photography, and illustration

-Knowledge of non-traditional/digital marketing communications including email marketing, website, social and digital media

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURES:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
