Description

Ok. Let’s get this out of the way. We’re not the biggest agency in town. By size or by reputation. But we are one of, if not, the oldest. And for good reason. We know how to move with the times and keep things fresh. And that’s exactly where you come in.
One of our super-talented team is moving on. We’re excited for her. Bummed for us. But her departure leaves a spot in our team that is exactly your size. Yay!

We’ve got a whole lot of work coming in. Lots of writing, thinking and making. So we’re looking for a talented writer to join our close-knit team and hit the ground running.
Sure, you can throw down headlines with the best of them. But can you think big? Can you take a brief and start plastering a wall with ideas? Brainstorm ‘til you blow someone’s mind? That’s what we need. Someone who’s motivated to make great work and help clients get results.

You’ll be working in a small team. Wearing lots of hats. So expect to be throwing down in all aspects of communication: campaign concepting, strategy and execution, video, radio, print, digital and even some fun, internal non-traditional projects.

Responsibilities:
Some of this should go without saying. But we’ll say it anyway. You’ll be responsible for coming up with ideas that work. Hey, if they win some awards along the way, great. But first and foremost, we’ve got to shift the needle. Get results. Move people. You’ll be guided and inspired by one of the youngest Chief Creative Officers in the business and supported by a team of fun-loving, hard-working Americans. And one scruffy-looking Australian. We’re collaborative and open, so it won’t be unusual for you to hear suggestions from people outside of the creative team. And that’s cool. We like that here. And you will too. We’ll expect you to turn up and do your best, every day. But we also understand that sometimes, life happens. Kids get sick. Washing machines break down. And tires go flat. So we’re pretty flexible about office hours.

Requirements:
Here’s the knitty-gritty. You should have at least 5, yes FIVE, years of agency experience, possess strong conceptual thinking skills, and a book (who has a book nowadays?) full of great looking work. You should be self-motivated, meticulous, and able to present and sell your ideas internally and externally.

A sense of humor is an absolute. We like to laugh. And have some pretty unique laughs at that. Bring yours and you’ll fit right in. We also love pets. You’ll be greeted by fish, and at least one dog, every day.

So, if you’re ready to think, work hard (but not too hard), write, laugh and make things, this is the place for you

Compensation:
Yeah, like we’re going to put a number here. Let’s just say competitive, and we can have that conversation.
