DAO Labs’ mission is to radically change the way Western consumers approach health and balance in the lives, by incorporating 2,500 year old Chinese formulas and lifestyle practices into product and services that are easy to understand, consume and practice.
We’re seeking a Media Production Assistant. This position is part-time (12-15 hrs/wk) as an independent contractor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Fluent in video & audio editing software of your choice. Preferably, you have your own installed already, but if we’re required to install for you – it’ll be Adobe Suite. (Specifically Premiere & Audition)
Ability to frame and shoot aesthetically pleasing portrait-style video, along with the occasional B-Roll.
A sophisticated and upbeat “radio voice” and front-of-camera appearance. You won’t be the focal-point for every production, but you will need to step in from time-to-time, especially for audio interviews.
Strong writing skills for commercial video and audio scripts. Must be able to write 1-3 scripts for production weekly, as well as the occasional blog piece.
Experience with MS Suite, particularly the ability to conduct research and put together simple, but eye-catching presentations on PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with podcasting.
Photography experience.
