Exhibition preview party at the American Swedish Institute

Get an advance look at new exhibitions and meet artist Erik Johansson during the First Look: Imagine preview party. The evening will be full of interactive activities such as in-the-moment drawing/visual notetaking, guests including the Water Bar, live music from Go For Retro and special party food and curated cocktails from FIKA for purchase.

Be the first to see ASI’s newest exhibition, Imagine: Surreal Photography by Erik Johansson, which features the dream-like, nature-based photograph montages of award-winning artist, Instagram giant and Swedish native Erik Johansson.

Also opening is Witness: Stuart Klipper, an exhibit that highlights images captured by the Minneapolis-based photographer of a northern Sweden landscape forever altered by the post-Chernobyl crises.
