Strong Women In Motion (SWIM), once a podcast dedicated to spreading the word about women in the animation industry, is now being revamped as a community of Minnesota animators who identify as female, trans or non-binary.

To celebrate the launch of their renewed website, SWIM is hosting a free social event at Minneapolis Telecommunications Network (MTN) on July 20th. The event will feature a digital ribbon cutting ceremony to release the new website and screenings of the work of Minnesota women/trans/non-binary animators. All genders welcome. Light refreshments will be provided as well as coffee sponsored by Anelace Coffee.
