Born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1979. I originally pursued acting and appeared in many productions in high school and community theaters. I applied to and auditioned for Julliard. Started film studies when I was 16 years old at the Midwest Media Artists Access Center in Minneapolis. Shortly thereafter I worked on the set of the feature film Drop Dead Gorgeous as an intern during the film's Minnesota shooting. Later I studied at The Academy of Art College in San Francisco, before returning to Minnesota to work on the nationally syndicated public television series, Right On The Money. After Right On The Money, I spent several years editing and producing industrial films. I also worked on feature films (Sweet Land), several short films, and other video projects.
