Design, to us, means a plan. A strategic, thoughtful, creative way to get from point A to point B. We do strategic marketing, graphic design, and creative communications. In a nutshell: We build brands, launch products, market ideas, improve sales, and create results.

Adam Demers

I'm a designer/art director with a penchant for asking questions and a desire to do good. I like to team up with nonprofits and arts organizations, and I love a project with deep content. That said, I'm not one to eschew a quick-n-dirty project or one with a budget. In any case, I like to start at the beginning, and I've lead several clients through the process of assessing needs, establishing context and building brands.

Adam Gunderson

Graphic Designer specializing in web/ digital, print, packaging, and illustration.

Anders Holine

Andrew Baumgartner

Andrew Baumgartner in a nutshell: • Unique designer from MPLS, MN • Knack for brand/identity, package, & layout • Dabble in coding simple websites & flash ads • Everchanging & flexible design style • Always a sketchbook nearby

Andrew Brynjulson

Andrew suffers from Overactive Ambition Syndrome, a tragic condition that causes one to work tirelessly for no other reason than pure compulsion and kinetic energy. Not to be confused with Oral Allergy Syndrome. This means that by day he works as a Creative at Astronaut Studio crafting brand strategies for only the bravest of sustainable businesses, clean technologies, and eco-initiatives. By night Andrew freelances under the guise of Brenni Fresh Creative, runs a screen printing studio and artist collective that he co-founded called Harlequin Studio, and serves on the South Dakota Advertising Federation's Board of Directors. Symptoms of Overactive Ambition Syndrome include dry mouth, fever, cold sweats, joint aches, and shortness of breath. A cure has not yet been discovered.

Andy Powell

My passions: Living healthy. Being socially responsible. Doing great work for people who appreciate creativity.

Carrie Bethel

I am a Graphic Designer. I am in love with communications and have had some part of both in my life since I could walk. I do well in groups and I am not afraid of getting up and speaking out. I grew up in the mud and sticks of Northern Minnesota and a part of me will always creep out in conversation. I am a light person, both with my work and preference for sunny warmth over cloudy cold. My design process always starts with hours of research and sketching. I love working through ideas and having meaning behind my work. Its not just about creating something that looks good, it has to have sustenance and body.

Chad Kirsebom

My Name is Chad Kirsebom. I live in Minneapolis Minnesota. I am currently a Graphic Design student at the Art Institutes International Minnesota and an intern at Grandpa-George Design and Interactive. I will be finishing up my degree in December 2011. I love everything about good design. Having a deep passion is for vintage design, sometimes I feel like I was born in the wrong time era. Older packaging is absolutely beautiful and I get inspired by rummaging through flea markets and antique shops that hold these gems. When I am not designing, I am out on the streets riding my bike and or sipping some espresso. Design has become more than just a hobby. I live it.

Charles Tetreault

I have been doodling ever since I could pick up a pencil. In addition to being a great designer, I can illustrate. This comes in useful in more ways than I could have ever predicted.

Chris Rowe

To be a great designer, I feel one must remain well rounded, open minded, and motivated to fuel curiosity through the combination of determination, talent, and collaboration. As a designer I am influenced by everything around me; through my experience, acquaintances, through what is new and what seems foreign. I highly value my career as a multi-faceted designer and use its versatility when approaching new projects to create unique results.

Christian

I'm a Minneapolis-based blogger, absurdist/humor writer, and editor for print and online media. I'm into homebrewing, stationery, photography, and world travel.

Christina Slick

I am a designer who is very interested in history and finds inspiration from vintage ideas and items. I hope to raise awareness to reuse in the field of design. Whether that be printing onto recycled paper or repurposing an antique chair for your home; my goal is to provide resourceful designs for everyday life. I enjoy working with a variety of materials—paint, wood, fabric, paper, etc… I am a creative problem solver who invents new ways to use old things.

Clint Greene

My name is Clint Greene. In June of 2010 I graduated from the Art Institutes International Minnesota for graphic design, and have spent the last year and a half doing editorial design for the American Craft magazine. In school I focused on branding and logo development, and learned the process of concepting and ideation. After graduation I went to work for Hopkins/Baumann who showed me a different perspective on design. I learned quickly the do's and don'ts of designing for a publication, using grid structures and typography. They taught me how to tell the written story plainly and without reservations, and allowed me to take on the bulk of the image manipulation work. Overall it's been a great experience, and I'm thankful for it. I learned a lot.

As a kid, I've always been one to pay more attention to my handwriting then the content I was putting down. Letters and forms are things I grew up paying close attention to and loving. My father, an artist himself, always told me I should be a graphic designer but my mind was fogged with being a Vet or a Teacher. The year I started looking for colleges I realized I wanted to be nothing else than a graphic designer. My love for design and typography only grew stronger in college. The passion I posses for design keeps me thinking creatively and pushes me to develop new design solutions to keep my clients/employers happy. With each piece I create, I develop a strong conceptual message through visual and literal research. I am a motivated designer and enjoy learning in this ever changing technological world. Now my passion for art and design has turned me into a 24/7 designer; since I have caught this bug I have not been able to stop observing, learning, and improving. Growing up, my notebooks were filled with scribbles of cartoon characters, spaceships, fat graffiti letters, hot rods and hair metal band logos. I wanted to be a cartoonist, but didn’t think I had any good stories to tell. Then I heard about Graphic Design and everything changed. I have worked as a designer around Minneapolis for over a dozen years. During that time, I have had the opportunity to work across many industries, and have worked with clients both big and small. I have helped brand small, local start-ups and rebrand those with an international presence. I believe that the best design is a combination of a good strategic foundation, a strong concept and attention to details in the design. I am currently working full time at Periscope in Minneapolis, but am always looking for new freelance opportunities. Whether you just need a new logo or are looking to completely overhaul a brand, please feel free to contact me.
