I've made a lot of people, a whole lot of money because that's what I do. I get people to buy. How? I'm pretty damn smart. That makes me a pretty damn good writer who knows what he's talking about when it comes to branding, strategy and messaging. Confident, yeah. I'm confident. Prima donna? Not at all. Copywriter. Beer drinker. Movie watcher. Improvisor. Power Forward. Admittedly weird. Hater of sleep. Lover of culture. Curious. Trusting. Loyal. High-Fiver.

Heather Sonnek

Sup Sup Sup! My name is Heather Sonnek. My energy exceeds my other attributes such as my drive to succeed, love for life, sense of humor, and borderline OCD organizational tendencies. I could stand to kick my caffeine addiction but life wouldn't be as fun and spastic that way, plus the heart palpitations are only few and far between . My wardrobe is no match for my personality; grey, black, grey and black, some occasional blue and im set.

I'm about to roll off the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities assembly line of freshly polished students, virgins to the proverbial 'real world'. I graduated Magna cum nerd with degrees in English and Strategic Communications (namely: advertising). I wore parachute pants way past their expiration date, so its clear a fear of challenges totally escaped me from youth onward. I'd love to get to know you, you can get to know me, we can nibble some cookies and have a chat about our favorite breed of dog or, better yet, an opportunity for me to get my feet wet in the advertising world as a copywriter or coffee-fetcher. Really, my expectations for the first couple years of my working life are barely above humane. Thank you for your time. Let's chat.

Matt Connell

I'm a nomadic copywriter who has his butt in the clouds, and likes to do things differently just because. I believe fireworks are a year-round thing, and still get a kick out of blowing stuff up, but living things are safe. Trans-fats are my favorite food, as well as fruit. I love fruit.

Nicholas R. Hart

I recently moved to Minneapolis from Columbus, Ohio in order to study copywriting at Miami Ad School. I became interested in advertising while earning my English degree at Ohio State, and before graduating I put together a book of spec ads which Luke Sullivan told me were "Cliche and easy". Encouraged and feeling as if Babe Ruth had just told me why my swing was terrible, I began writing to and meeting with local creative directors. One in particular was nice enough to spend an hour talking with me about our favorite campaigns, what he had been working on, and how awesome we think George Lois is. At the end of our meeting he said I had what he calls "The Sickness" and sent me home with a volume of The One Show and a list of schools to consider. Almost immediately I started my application, sold most of my things, and found an apartment in Loring Park. School is now well under way and I've never been so psyched to be this buried in work. I'm also digging being able to say that I live where the Replacements are from. I'll post some work soon.

As a recent graduate from ad school, I'm looking to break into the ad industry as a copywriter. While I search for that stubborn first job, I continue to absorb and create. I absorb advice, pop-culture, literature, music, film, and anything else that will make me a more creative person. I create ideas. Big ideas. Not just a shallow execution of the world's hottest new technology. But ideas that are deeply rooted in the truth that surrounds a product, brand, or target market.
