Adobe is Working to Raise Money for the Hamilton Wood Type Museum

/ Comments (0)

For those that don't know, the Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum is the only museum dedicated to the preservation, study, production, and printing of wood type. With 1.5 million pieces of wood type and more than 1,000 styles and sizes of patterns, Hamilton's collection is one of the premier wood type collections in the world. The best part is its located just a state away in our neighbor Wisconsin.

Feel good about shilling out your 500+ dollars for your next Adobe Creative Suite upgrade since the company is doing local initiatives to support our community. One such event is running this "Tangible Type" film screening in Washington to raise funds for our lovely, local Hamilton Museum. If you happen to be in Seattle on the 15th get the details and check it out for yourself. For the rest of us, check out the two great films they will be screening including “Typeface” and “Linotype: The Film.” And don't forget to make a visit and donation to the local Hamilton Wood Type and Printing Museum. Trust us, you will be very glad that you did.
