When using a GoPro to capture unusually close footage of grizzly bears for the Great Bear Stakeout for BBC, Brad Josephs had a young bear actually chew on the camera. Amazingly there was no damage. Awesome.

In the wake of being named True Value branding agency of record earlier this year, Solve has hired Ryan Murray to oversee activity on the account. Ryan joins the agency from Fallon, where he worked for six years contributing to the success of brands including Purina, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Cruzan Rum. Prior to Fallon, Ryan worked in the film industry in Los Angeles. “Ryan’s experience, drive and proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, creatively-charged environments make him a terrific fit for Solve,” says agency CEO John Colasanti.
Target appears to be making technology a very high priority. They recently established a new office in San Francisco focused on innovation in mobile and digital. Their goal in setting up shop in SF is to "collaborate more closely with Bay Area technology partners and forge new relationships with local innovators and emerging technology firms." Back in 2000, Walmart set up an office in the same city; but, to manage their web-based retail operations. We're curious to see what comes of this new collaboration for Target.
Carmichael Lynch's long running campaign is still killing it for their client Jack Link's. In fact, their "Messin’ With Sasquatch" series has "helped take Jack Link's Jerky from a distant second to the clear #1 in meat snacks." Meat. We've featured a bit of the Sasquatch creative, over the past four years, here, here, here, here, and here. Carmichael's latest three spots find Sas a tad cranky after an overly long winter hibernation.
