JOB SUMMARY
The Account Executive is the primary client contact on day-to-day development and implementation of marketing and communications programs. This position will report to, and work closely with, the Senior Account Executive on all aspects of project management. Key measurements of this role are proactivity, demonstrating a willingness to learn, accountability, and leadership.

CORE DUTIES
• Manage, lead and take ownership of the business unit which will include program strategy development and execution, ensuring that JTM achieves and exceeds client expectations
• Ensure, through efficient team management and their own administration, that jobs are carried out within agreed timing schedules to the level expected by both the agency and the client
• Provide direction for creative strategies
• Build relationships at the appropriate client level
• Manage client expectations
• Manage vendor and partner agency relationships
• Co-own (with Senior Account Executive and Management Supervisor) overall client satisfaction
• Keep abreast of current trends in marketing and communications in client industries
• Visit and participate in events as necessary
• Monitor and report on client competition and the B2B marketing landscape
• Monitor and manage client billing

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• 3 to 5 years agency experience; must have a thorough understanding of typical agency processes
• BA degree in marketing or related field
• Experience with B2B marketing preferred
• Experience with food marketing preferred
• Able to combine analytical thinking with the ability to review creative work
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams
• Proven communications, relationship-building and project management skills
